Pool Cleaning & Restoration

Sometimes Your Pool Needs More Than a Cleaning.

Green water, heavy algae, aging water, staining and calcium buildup sometimes require more than ordinary weekly pool service. SwimHappy offers specialty cleaning and restoration services designed to get your pool back on track.

Every pool starts in a different place.

Water condition, surface condition, filtration and equipment performance all affect the recovery process. We’ll recommend the service that makes sense for your pool rather than forcing every situation into the same solution.

How Deep Does the Cleaning Need to Go?

Once a pool is drained, we can perform different levels of surface cleaning depending on its condition and what you’re trying to accomplish.

Surface Deep Clean

Pressure Wash

A lower-tier deep cleaning option designed to remove algae, dirt and loose buildup from the pool’s interior surfaces.

Interior surfaces are thoroughly pressure washed
Targets algae, dirt and loose surface buildup
No acid treatment is performed

Tile Cleaning

Get Rid of That White Calcium Line.

Arizona’s hard water can leave stubborn calcium scale around the waterline. Ordinary brushing and pool chemicals often aren’t enough to remove heavy buildup.

SwimHappy offers specialized media-blast tile cleaning to remove calcium buildup and dramatically improve the appearance of the pool’s waterline tile.

Tile cleaning can be paired with draining and other deep-cleaning services when appropriate.

Pool Draining & Water Refresh

Sometimes the Best Solution Is Fresh Water.

Pool water accumulates minerals and dissolved material over time. In Arizona, hard source water can contribute to rising calcium, while stabilized chlorine products can contribute to increasing cyanuric acid.

When those levels become excessive, draining and refilling can provide the clean slate needed to restore healthier water chemistry.

Arizona weather matters.

Pool draining is generally recommended during cooler weather. Availability depends on current temperatures, pool finish and existing surface condition. Plaster surfaces require particular caution during hot weather, while some pebble-finish pools may allow more flexibility when draining is necessary.

1

Drain

We provide the equipment needed to drain the pool to an appropriate drainage location.

2

Deep Clean — If Selected

This is where pressure washing, acid washing and/or tile cleaning can be performed while the pool is empty.

3

Refill

Refilling begins after cleaning. The homeowner generally monitors the refill until the proper water level is reached.

4

Startup

When included, we restart circulation, establish the pump schedule and add the initial water-treatment chemicals.
